**Vision** To be an academic reference center in the fields of transportation and logistics management for Thailand and the ASEAN region. **Mission** * To conduct research and coordinate the production of multidisciplinary research outputs in transportation and logistics management that contribute to the development of efficient transportation and logistics systems at the national, ASEAN, and international levels. * To develop professionals in the fields of transportation and logistics. * To integrate existing knowledge and data in order to develop national and regional transportation and logistics information systems for public dissemination. * To support graduate-level education in transportation and logistics by collaborating with agencies and faculty members to incorporate the institute’s research into teaching, as well as providing opportunities for students to participate in research activities with the institute. * To develop internal management systems to support personnel in performing their duties efficiently. **Objectives of the Institute** The Institute of Transport is committed to research and development in the field of transportation and related disciplines, with the following objectives: * To serve as a knowledge center in transportation, where experts and academics can study, research, refine, and exchange knowledge in transportation. * To support research in transportation and related fields, as well as graduate education in transportation studies. * To provide consultancy services to government and private sector organizations in transportation and logistics. * To disseminate academic knowledge through short training courses and seminars on topics related to transportation, logistics, and supply chain management for the general public.
