The short version you might actually read: Cuttline—yes two T’s—elevates web presences to unimaginable levels with multi-device compatible sites (“Build Responsively™), mobile apps, logos and more. ------------------------------------------------------- The long version no one will read: The name “Cuttline” is a fly fishing term. A cuttline is basically where the ripples of flowing water end, meeting with calm water—albeit from rocks underneath or a bend in the stream. It’s where all of the fish hang out. And here at Cuttline, we like to think of our clients as fish, ready to be caught, savagely filleted up, and eaten (dead or alive). Kidding. The elegant transformation within a stream from flowing, nervous water (the problem), into calm, pristine water (the solution), is really where the name comes from. Fly fishing is a fine tuned skill, as is the combination of creativity, design and development. We could go on and on about our love for fishing, but A) we’re based in Colorado so it’s really not all that crazy, and B) not all of us even fish let alone love to fish (editor’s note: some of us might even call it boring). But we do love computers. That’s something we can all agree on. Approximately way, way way too much time spent on them has honed a very well-rounded skill set, making us masters in anything from websites, apps, mapping, analytics, custom software and other “tech nerd” stuff to all things creative; such as copywriting, design, logos, branding, advertising, marketing, video and more. The bottom line is we build cool stuff and are passionate about helping brands get to the next level.
