Leading Edge Electronics Burnie was established as a franchise in September 2002 trading as A & C Williams Electronics PTY LTD and opening with a staff of three. With a very small budget and a lot of hard work, it was successful in filling the need for an Electronics store with a difference in Burnie, North West Tasmania. The mix of Electronics and Hobbies soon became the main direction and the business thrived and staff and floor space grew with three expansions in as many years. LEADING EDGE ELECTRONICS. Formed with less than thirty members the group now has in excess of 100 members and agents across regional and rural Australia. We are a privately owned dedicated home and consumer electronics store offering great service and advice and as we are part of one of the largest buying groups in Australia with over 1300 stores we have a great range at competitive prices. We carry a large range of products from Electronic components, Radio Controlled Toys, Hobby lines, Model Railway, UHF and Marine Radio, Metal Detectors, Computers to LED Televisions. With 80 plus suppliers at our service if we have not got it in stock we can usually source it for you. With our fourth expansion complete and eight staff, we look forward to being of service to you.
