Cycle Pure Incense business was established in 2011 under the name of Suwanda Industries, as a joint venture company between Eswaran Brothers (Pvt) Ltd, one of the pioneers in branded value-added tea exporters in Sri Lanka and N. Ranga Rao & Sons (PVT) Ltd, the largest incense sticks manufacture in India, marketing under the name of Cycle Pure Incense. Brand is exported over 75 countries.
However, before initiating as a business, the operation was introduced as a community services project in 2009 to support household income of the war affected communities & empower women headed households in Sri Lanka.
Cycle Pure Incense believed in giving back to society, a part of the gains and also, company is continued their support in women empowerment. Majority of the factory workforce are women, and there are women team leaders appointed around the factory with an empowering concept of “Women Packing Units Concept” where they continue their services by deploying many other female employees in their neighborhoods.
Cycle Pure Incense is diversified into many businesses, but in Sri Lanka, they focus on manufacturing prayer related products, fragrance and perfumes. Their most popular incense stick brand is “Lia”. Cycle Pure Incense is the pioneer in producing the unique “Parampara Incense Sticks” in Sri Lanka, which made out of herbs, natural perfumes, honey and sandalwood powder. “Cycle Cup Sambrani” and “Cycle Long Burn Incense Sticks” are some of the key innovations of the company. With all these novel products, the Cycle Pure Incense is becoming the most lovable “Household Fragrance & Prayer Partner” in the Sri Lanka.
