Established in 1988 by Mr. Jim Bonner; Cylinder Services employ more than 50 workers and each employee is experienced and qualified in their job. Our workshops are is approximately 2000 m² which provides a productive and safe working environment for our employees. Ongoing training is provided to ensure that our staff is fully informed of any changes, developments and improvements in
all disciplines. Our vast scope of work included hydraulic cylinder repairs, the largest source of service exchange cylinders on earth moving machinery to reduce downtime drastically. All Service Exchange cylinders are being taken back to OEM standards. Cylinders stocked for ADT's; Slag pot Carriers; Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr excavators; Komatsu Dozers. Re-engineer spares for cylinders. State of the art machinery to do most work in-house. Hone cylinders up to six meters and 340 mm ID. With the aid of our drawing office, we can manufacture new cylinders. Have repaired and built more than 40 000 cylinders over the last 32 years. Suppliers and manufacturers of bushes, pins, loader frames, dozer track frames. Can perform heavy engineering repairs on earth moving machinery. Our workshop included CNC machines, Honing machines, Line boring machines, a machine workshop that can turn material up to 5m length and 800mm diameter; a drawing department, a welding booth, a spray booth and a large testing facility. Our stores are approximately 740 m² including services exchange store. By having a large store and keeping stock of parts such as glands, clevises, seals and more we are able to minimize turnaround time on repairs and manufactures.Our in-house software package was specifically designed to meet our high standards and expectations. With our Hydra-matrix software package; all records including photos and failure reports, job cards and quotations per job are stored in the system. This ensures an accurate customer data base with quick referencing facility.
