CYPHER was founded in 2000 by John Black, and has since evolved into a globally recognized studio with a team of international artists. CYPHER crafts dynamic, high quality aural experiences for visual content and beyond. We are passionate about music and sound design, and the ways that they intersect and interact to tell stories. Inspired by nature, and always exploring contemporary music, art and design, we strive to push the boundaries of style and technique to immerse and engage an audience. We have designed sound and music for curated art, feature film, broadcast network, motion graphics, commercial, AAA gaming, interactive, site-specific installation, AR/VR, Web3 / Metaverse & Procedural / Generative Audio Systems. We specialize in forward thinking sonic branding, fusing current sound design & music composition techniques, from concept to final mix.
