Bacteriophages are viruses that specifically target and destroy bacterial cells. Cytophage uses synthetic biology to generate any type of bacteriophage in the lab, replacing that ‘search-in-nature’ process and accelerating the development and application of bacteriophages to prevent or treat infections.
