Czapek Dox

Czapek Dox is a student-led organisation whose main goal is to connect students across South Asia to mentors and experts in their fields, and encourage high school and college students to pursue STEM-based research. We plan to connect young minds who join our website to professors from their home countries so that they can be mentored properly and guided through the obstacles they once had to get through on their own. We plan on conducting seminars, competitions, awareness campaigns, workshops, “how to get into research” type of courses and other things that would help high schoolers and college students gain knowledge about the fields that they are interested in. Our website would allow students to connect with experts and publish their scientific writing. Our long term goals: 1. Assisting students in their research based endeavours 2. Providing mentorship via seminars / workshops led by experts 3. Providing a platform that would allow young minds to publish their scientific writing 4. Getting professors across South and Southeast Asia involved to ensure the students who engage with our website receive guidance from experienced scientists 5. Spreading awareness about climate change / gender inequality [especially in STEM academia] + other issues that we are passionate about 6. Organising online courses for basic lab techniques and tutorials on certain commonly used lab methods for microbiology / Biotechnology We are a work-in-progress! Website coming soon!
