The EXPO 2020 in Dubai will take place from 20th of October 2020 until the 10th of April 2021.
The organizers estimate that the EXPO 2020 will have more than 200 participants, with more than 180 countries, as well as multinational companies, educational institutions and non-governmental organizations.
The concept of the Czech pavilion at the EXPO 2020 draws on the nature of Czech Republic as a natural place, highlights its exceptional features in an international context and narrows the selection of innovations to the area, where Czech scientists and industry can make an original contribution to the theme of EXPO 2020 in Dubai “Connecting Minds – Creating the Future” and the subtopics of “Opportunity, Mobility, Sustainability”.
With regard to the location and environment of Dubai, the organizers greatly emphasize water treatment – the technologies built into the construction of the pavilion will use solar energy to create water out of the air. This technology will become both the symbolic and actual key to the topic “Connecting Mind – Creating Future”
