Established by Tracy "The D.O.C." Curry in Dallas, Texas, DOC Cares exists to elevate communities, entrepreneurs and innovators driven by purpose and a sense of possibility to create a world of abundance for future generations.
We use social innovations, advocacy, storytelling, and convenings to create high-impact solutions to drive change in Education, Civic & Community Engagement, Gun Violence, and Financial Equity outcomes.
FLAGSHIP WORKFORCE EDUCATION INITIATIVE:
The Dreams Experience Academy is a new model for community-based workforce education and creator-led economic empowerment designed to open opportunities in the $3 Trillion Media, Entertainment and Tech industries for motivated at-risk youth who may also be experiencing chronic absenteeism.
Our 2025 DEA summer pilot in Southern Dallas featured immersive, in-person learning experiences with contributors including Dude Perfect, GameSquare, the Dallas Mavericks, and other partners. We have also hosted special guest appearances from figures like Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu and Dr. Dre, who engaged directly with our kids.
