At D-Prime, we are dedicated to transforming research into innovative, real-world applications. Our approach—rooted in the 'd' (d-prime) concept from signal detection theory—employs a method that distinguishes meaningful signals from noise within complex data. Our team comprises data scientists, neuroscientists and former defense and healthcare experts. As a cohesive team organized by a clear mission, we create innovation by developing solutions that provide objective, useful measures of human state that are otherwise difficult to assess. Example projects include: 1. End to end systems that use real-time estimates of cognitive workload to improve performance in high-stakes, mission-critical environments. 2. Using wearable device data to improve sleep assessment and treatment for patients and clinicians. Our core capabilities include creating algorithms for wearable sensor data to create digital diagnostics/assessment tools, prototyping and optimizing human-in-the-loop systems, and performing validation studies to provide real-world utility of our technologies.
