DABD (uk) is a charity working with and supporting socially excluded people across London and the UK.
We celebrate diverse ability and work with individuals, local organisations and communities to develop services to support and promote independence, social inclusion and personal development.
These services include everything from welfare benefits advice and training courses through to independent living equipment and accessible transport.
Since our inception in 1952, we have supported thousands of excluded people to access opportunities as well as establishing and supporting many other clubs, societies and partnerships. Our commitment is to develop services to meet the needs of individuals and local communities, regardless of whether we directly provide the service or whether another organisation does.
From grass roots and neighbourhood work through to strategic partnerships at a local, regional and national level, we work at many different levels to do this.
