DaCapo Project

DaCapo is an innovative project aiming at the creation of human-centric digital tools and services to improve the adoption of Circular Economy (CE) strategies along both manufacturing value chains and products lifecycle. These tools and services, focused on the introduction of new digital assets, AI-based systems and the application of process and product Digital Twins, will substantially improve the sustainability and efficiency of imported and critical raw materials in European manufacturing. The project will also deploy open RTO-hosted Didactic Factories (DF) providing showrooms, validation and training facilities for the EU manufacturing sector and society. DaCapo will demonstrate its applicability on 3 EU critical value chains in the following production environments: aeronautics, ICT & consumer electronics, and warehousing (logistics, including construction).
