We, as new media artists, recognize that today’s generation of artists and designers, empowered by technology, are redefining creativity through innovative mediums. However, India lacks a dedicated festival or platform for new media and digital art—one that enables artists to connect, exchange ideas, and foster a sense of community. This realization inspired the creation of DAF India, a festival envisioned to bring together all those shaping the dynamic intersection of art and technology in India. Guided by our mentors at IIM-A and supported by the invaluable insights of Mr. Roshan Abbas, we transformed this vision into a platform that celebrates innovation and collaboration. From our initial showcases in Ahmedabad to an interactive installation at Raw Collaborative, our journey has brought us to Bengaluru city with the perfect fusion of technology and culture for the inaugural edition of DAF India. Together, we invite artists and audiences to explore the future of artistic expression.
