Dahab Cats

Our mission is to rescue sick, injured, and at-risk cats and kittens, providing them with medical care, spaying/neutering, and vaccinations. Once rehabilitated, we return healthy cats to their outdoor homes when possible, while offering lifelong sanctuary or adoption to those unable to thrive independently. As a small nonprofit, we aim to create a healthier, safer cat population by addressing overpopulation and caring for vulnerable felines. Our work includes finding loving homes, treating medical issues, rescuing abandoned kittens, preparing cats for travel, offering boarding services for traveling owners, and educating the community. Operating two modest home-based sanctuaries, we currently care for approximately 60 cats and kittens. Relying entirely on donations, every contribution directly supports veterinary costs, shelter operations, and lifesaving efforts. We minimize expenses through recycling, upcycling, volunteer support, and cost-effective solutions. While rewarding, this work is emotionally challenging, demanding resilience and compassion as we strive to improve the lives of cats in need.
