About DAILP

DAILP is a community-based digital archive created to support indigenous peoples’ knowledge, interpretations, and representations of the past. We are currently working with Cherokee community members, speakers, teachers, learners, translators, scholars, and linguists to create a community-centered tool for language preservation and perseverance. Moving forward, we hope for DAILP to become a collaborative place for indigenous language learners, speakers, and scholars to translate documents and other media across American Indian languages.
