DairyChem has been manufacturing natural dairy flavors for over 80 years. Our origins date back to our founder- Dr. Leon Chumlea- who developed a natural butter flavor produced from cultured milk using select lactic cultures, and purified by steam distillation. Today, we manufacture a wide range of flavors and ingredients that enhance food products.
Headquartered in the heartland of America, we supply some of the world’s largest food, nutritional, confection and beverage manufactures as well as traditional dairy companies.
DairyChem develops and produces natural dairy flavors utilizing our steam distillation process in addition to innovative new technologies including natural enzyme modification. Our portfolio of flavors includes a wide range of Butter, Cheese, Cream, Yogurt, Buttermilk, and Specialty Flavors.
In March of 2016 DairyChem purchased Ingretec, adding a line of cheese flavorings and fillings to their portfolio. Ingretec remains based in Lebanon, PA.
