Dakshas' is a healthcare non-profit ecosystem of communities, team members, partners, individual mentors and institutions working towards Universal Healthcare.
Dakshas started in Nov-Dec 2013, as a group of orthopedic surgeons desirous of providing ethical subspecialty orthopedic care. Focus then shifted to deliver high quality care to marginalized through partnerships and healthcare networks. Pursuit of these challenges, and Dakshas’ emerging solutions, struck a resonance with patients, individuals, alumni groups, communities and organizations.
Their echoes and encouragements unhesitatingly continue to support Dakshas with resources, networks, skill-sets and funds; opening doors and dreams, of scale and scope, that weren’t imagined at its conception. From being auxiliary associates, they have adopted Dakshas, transforming it into a community driven, citizen-lead healthcare initiative to provide ‘Universal Access to Safe Surgery’, irrespective of financial constraints.
