My treatment philosophy is to work collaboratively with families to provide children, adolescents, and emerging adults an open, empathetic, safe space to express the challenges they face. I strive to assist young people in looking for evidence of their resilience. As a Registered Play Therapy – Supervisor (RPT-S), I am dedicated to learning and teaching cutting-edge, child-focused interventions.
To accomplish the goal of assisting families in learning adaptive communication, I provide caregivers with information on what to expect in each developmental phase of their child's development. Young people have few choices when meeting society's demands and fulfilling school requirements, social pressure, and family obligations. I strive to help them recognize their strengths, learn to communicate respectfully, and identify and share their core values as they pursue their immediate and long-term goals.
