It has won numerous pro bono awards—most recently the Law Society of Hong Kong 2019 Distinguished Pro Bono Law Firm Award. With decades of experience in strategic litigation, Daly & Associates has been a driving force in shaping human rights protections in Hong Kong. Mr. Daly, the principal of the firm, a migrant worker from Canada, worked with the late Pam Baker in the 90’s on the Vietnamese refugee cases and later on significant early Basic Law constitutional challenges relating to the Right of Abode for Mainland children of Hong Kong residents. Mr. Daly and team continue to bring landmark challenges to the highest Courts in Hong Kong.
