The Group started its insurance operation in 1964 by acquiring Al Nisr Insurance Co. in Lebanon. In 1980, the Group established the Saudi Arabian Insurance Company BSC (c) and 2007 became a founding member in the Saudi Arabian Cooperative insurance company in KSA.
