The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Digital and Automated Materials Chemistry (DAMC) is pioneering a transformative approach to how materials are discovered, designed, and developed.
Based at the University of Liverpool’s Materials Innovation Factory, the DAMC integrates chemistry, robotics, and digital intelligence to accelerate innovation in materials science.
The CDT supports five cohorts of postgraduate researchers working at the interface of materials chemistry, robotics, and data science. It fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration across chemistry, physics, computer science, and engineering, with projects co-designed and co-supervised across academic and industrial sectors.
