Dan Mynard Creates

Dan’s quite aware that the name of his company isn't really the most original or cutting edge, but creating is simply what he does. The company has been alive and kicking for three years, and to date he has scuplted brand direction for companies, designed packaging, creatively artworked, worked in publishing & provided illustration. However, before he learnt about bitmaps and vectors, he always had a creative obsession after picking up a pencil for the first time when he was very, very small. His previous endeavors have led him to practice with mediums such as spray paint, oils & ink. He initially cut his teeth as a street artist, then fell in love with Children’s Illustration where his work went on to be published & his oil paintings exhibited at the odd gallery. He then learned his Graphic Design trade in a print studio, which - Dan believes - gives him a unique insight into creating a finished product that looks as good in your hand as it does on the screen. It turns out his approach is working, with relationships built with brands that keep coming back. In time away from being at his screen, Dan tries to improve his surfing & mountain bike skills, draw & collect vinyl.
