Dana Group is one of the leading industrial conglomerates in Nigeria with operations across a diverse range of sectors, with manufacturing facilities, trading capabilities and wide distribution networks. The Group comprises of strategically positioned subsidiaries and associate companies principally engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of plastic products, pharmaceutical products, bottled water, milling of steel, assembly, sales and servicing of motor vehicles, and aviation. From its maiden advent in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing in the mid-80′s, the Group diversified into bulk importation of Industrial Chemicals, affordable Pharmaceuticals and Surgicals, Commodities, Polyethylenes, Automobiles, Electronics and White Goods. In continuing with the Group’s philosophy of leading by example, the successful commissioning of a Plastics Plant for household products in the year 2000 was followed by the setting up of a Pharmaceutical Formulation Plant and a Table Water Bottling Plant in 2003. The Group also forrayed into Rice Milling too, using state-of-the-art food processing equipment from the world leaders in their fields. Dana Group also acquired Steel Rolling Mill in Katsina to produce debars and wire rods, which was a high point in 2006. The turn of the century has fulfilled its vision of becoming a large conglomerate with interests in diverse fields of operations, including that in manufacturing and importation of new varieties of Pharmaceutical products.
