My name is Laura Romeo Sobel & I am the founder of Dance for a Difference. I host “donate-what-you-wish” Zumba dance classes in which each class funds are contributed to a different local nonprofit in Westchester, NY.
Since DFAD's inception in March 2023, 14 different nonprofits have been supported raising over $5,000 and countless other connections made!
I currently serve as the Director of Ancillary Programs & Volunteer Services at White Plains Hospital and am the mom to a very active four-year-old. This passion project of mine has evolved into a beautiful outlet for creativity and joy outside of my day-to-day routine and has built awareness for some exceptional nonprofits and connection between participants.
