Dance Into Space (DIS) is a visionary non-profit contemporary dance theatre company, rooted in Kenya. We are an eclectic ensemble of artists, both with and without disabilities, weaving our performances into the fabric of mainstream stages and unconventional community spaces alike. At DIS, we create inclusive dance art that transcends boundaries, serving as a powerful medium for education, activism, and entertainment. As passionate “artivists” – arts activists – we confront critical existential issues, shedding light on human rights violations, particularly those affecting vulnerable communities, including people with disabilities. Our mission is clear and heartfelt: to GIVE DANCE TO ALL.
