Dancesport Confidence

DanceSport Confidence has been at the forefront of empowering youth through ballroom dance for over 19 years, combining education, coaching, and program development to foster personal growth and respectful relationships in students. The organisation’s innovative Wellbeing program, My Best Self, teaches Years 3 to 6 students confidence and teamwork using ballroom dancing as a medium, aligning with PDHPE, Creative Arts, and ACARA curriculum elements. With nearly 200,000 students taught across Australian public schools, the program embodies a mission to build confidence and creativity in children through movement. Supported by early funding from Hon. Sandra Nori and educational insights from Dr. Phil Lambert, DanceSport Confidence continues to enrich communities by delivering impactful, curriculum-aligned initiatives that promote social and emotional wellbeing.
