Event planning at college sucks. Students today plan their social life through informal and inefficient means like texting, word-of-mouth, instagram accounts, or even leveraging snapchat maps. There is no central platform that gathers the who, where, what, when, and how of social gatherings or spontaneous plans. Dandy is a one-stop-shop social media event planning-platform that has three core features: 1. Create Events 🔥: Create private or public; ability to hyperlink venmo/eventbrite/payment link; google map location; guest list; event details and cover photo. 2. Share Moves 🍻: Share plans in a casual way and if public, see if it gains a snowball effect when people share or like the move. 3. Form Squads 🤙: Form predetermined groups (e.g., dorm, frat, friend group, team, etc.) to invite members to events and share moves with them all at once. This is your new social hub.
