Dangerous Goods Services Ltd, founded by Colin Pratt in 2020, offers SME's, who manufacture, import, formulate, transport or trade in chemicals, assistance with regulatory compliance, and access to a certificated DGSA (ADR - Road and IMDG - Sea). Its founder, Colin Pratt, is a Chartered Engineer and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (by Road and Sea), with over 18 years’ experience in regulatory affairs within the industry. Prior to starting Dangerous Goods Services Ltd, his role included responsibility for manufacturing, labelling, packaging and consigning disinfectants, aerosols, surfactants and other fully regulated dangerous goods, as well as creating SDS in all EU languages. Colin Pratt has assisted a number of organisations to develop strategic plans to mitigate the effects of BREXIT. Colin Pratt is an active member of the Chemical Hazard Communication Society (CHCS), the British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals (BADGP) and the Chemical Regulation Self Help Group (CRSHG), in addition to being an Associate Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Member of the Institute of Refrigeration. Dangerous Goods Services Ltd can provide a retained consultant DGSA for fully regulated dangerous goods (as per the statutory requirements of ADR and IMDG), or an ad-hoc consultancy for businesses whose operations fall outside of the scope requiring a DGSA. Dangerous Goods Services Ltd can provide an SDS due diligence, authoring and review service in compliance with GB CLP and GB REACH legislation. In addition, product labels can be reviewed or authored with respect to CLP, BPR, REACH and the Aerosols and Surfactants Directives pertaining to Great Britain and Europe.
