Hello everyone, I’m Daniel Drew, a photographer based in England. I started photography back in 2018 and have enjoyed it ever since! I specialise in macro photography but I also do portrait photography and motorsport photography. Over the years I have achieved many things such as being in magazines and getting recognised by Nikon themselves. When I first started photography in 2018 I was using my iPhone 5 and shot nature and landscapes. But as I progressed I started taking pictures of people, products and household items, I used desk lamps to light my subjects. I would play with angles and try to make my images as good as they could be ! I would post all of my work onto my Instagram account and through there I then met a ton of photographers who began to help me progress. I would seek advice from them and use it to improve, and soon my improvements started to show in my work. Since then I still use advice to improve and will always do so. I then received my first ever camera from a photography friend who worked for a popular photography magazine and not before too long one of my images was in magazines ! I found macro photography in the beginning of 2020 and it soon became my main passion and have pursued it almost every day since !
