Danish Crown Beef is a leading supplier of beef products to the European retail sector, foodservice, and food industry. We are part of the Danish Crown Group.
From classic cuts to innovative concepts, our portfolio includes more than 10 brands – all developed and managed from our headquarters in Holsted, Denmark. Our concepts are marketed under the Danish Crown brand as Burger Boost, Danish Veal, Masterpiece 1887, Norland and Mesterligt.
With 1,346 employees across six production sites in Denmark and Germany, and sales offices in France, Italy, and Spain, we serve both local and international markets with high-quality veal and beef.
As part of the Danish cooperative movement, we are owned by 5,700 Danish cattle farmers and work closely across the value chain – from farm to fork. We focus on delivering consistent quality and on developing our business in line with the demands of customers, consumers and the markets we serve.
We are among the top five beef producers on the continent. Each year, more than 450,000 cattle are slaughtered at our facilities, following modern standards and classified according to the EUROP system. For 5 years we have developed an advanced sustainability programme called CrownFarm.
