Siden 1955 har DanRoots dyrket rodfrugter, og idag tæller sortimentet et spændende udvalg af gulerødder, pastinakker, persillerødder og rødbeder. Gulerødderne fremstilles både som økologisk og konventionel, mens de øvrige rodfrugter (pastinakker, persillerødder og rødbeder) udelukkende fremstilles om økologiske. I dag foregår al dyrkning under vigtig hensyntagen til miljøet, og der er stor fokus på fødevaresikkerhed, kontrol og sporbarhed. Gartneriet har gennem tiden opnået flere internationale certificering, for frugt og grønt; herunder GLOBALGAP og GRASP.
