DANUBE Functional Airspace Block [DANUBE FAB]

DANUBE FAB, is organised as a common project between Romania and the Republic of Bulgaria, inclusive between the two ANSPs, ROMATSA and BULATSA. The overall objective of DANUBE FAB is to achieve optimal provision of air traffic management (ATM)/air navigation services (ANS) in the areas relating to safety, environmental protection, sustainable development, capacity, cost-efficiency, civil–military cooperation, thus fulfilling the provisions of the Single European Sky framework legislation, related to the establishment and implementation of a FAB, comprising the airspaces of Romania and of the Republic of Bulgaria.
