About Diversity and Productivity From Education to Work

The £2 million Diversity and Productivity project, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), is spearheaded by The Inclusion Initiative at the LSE. Collaborating with researchers from the Institute for Fiscal Studies, University of Sheffield, University College London, and University of Warwick, Dr Grace Lordan, director of The Inclusion Initiative, leads this initiative to explore barriers to workforce diversity, assess the impact of diversity on business performance, and identify ways for firms to maximise the benefits of diverse teams. The project, addressing the 'leaky pipeline' issue, involves a multidisciplinary team using cutting-edge qualitative and quantitative methods. Recommendations will be implemented with businesses, directly influencing workplace diversity and creating immediate opportunities for under-represented groups.
