OUR STORY
Dar el-Machreq is one of the oldest Lebanese publishing houses in Lebanon and in the neighboring countries. The Jesuits founded the Catholic press and in 1848 the first book was released.
Based in Beirut, it becomes Dar el Machreq Publishers, dedicated to publish high quality academic & scientific books.
Widely known are the Monged dictionary, the Arabic School books عقود الكلام & عقود الأيام and the Arabic version of the Bible.
