About Dare to Dream
We believe that if you can dream it, you can do it. We believe in a world where girls can achieve anything they set their mind to. Our goal? To make sure each girl believes that if she can dream it, she can do it. We work in disadvantaged communities throughout Africa, focusing mainly on South Africa, Kenya and Uganda. We organise: - Inspirational 'TED-talk' events at which local role models share their stories with girls from disadvantaged backgrounds - Workshops to develop leadership skills in girls - Workshops to help teachers discover and grow talents in students - 'Big Sister' mentoring circles for girls
