💜 I'm a social entrepreneur turned impact investor. I founded Daring Capital to invest in extraordinary, underrepresented entrepreneurs creating profitable companies that make the world a better place.
Our focus is on early stage businesses working with disadvantaged groups such as women, ethnic minorities and those experiencing mental health challenges
🚲Prior to this, I founded the Bike Project in March 2013.
We refurbish second-hand bikes to refugees in London and Birmingham. We grew to £2.5m ARR and we we have given away over 11,000 bikes and supported many more refugees through our other programmes. We have won several awards including The European Union Social Innovation competition and The best charity at the National Lottery Awards. I personally won the Lloyds Banking Group Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015.
