Dark Phrases

Dark Phrases is a publication dedicated to the voices and visions of people of color at Sarah Lawrence College. It was founded following the 1989 sit-in for racial justice at Westlands, and the spirit of resistance and empowerment in that action is a part of our identity to this day. We publish one volume every academic school year, and we welcome submissions of creative arts from all students, faculty, staff, and alumnae/i of color at darkphrases@gm.slc.edu.
