Darksky Ethiopia

Darksky Ethiopian is an educational project dedicated to outreach, advocacy, conservation, and the advancement of celestial studies in Ethiopia. Our primary mission is to restore the nighttime environment, protect communities from the detrimental effects of light pollution, and extend the study of celestial bodies and sightings across Ethiopia. Our mission is to foster a deep appreciation for the night sky, promote sustainable lighting practices, and engage in scientific research while collaborating with communities, government bodies, and organizations to mitigate light pollution in Ethiopia. We strive to protect the night environment for future generations and enhance celestial studies.
