DarkSky Kenya

DarkSky International works to protect the night skies for present and future generations. Our DarkSky Kenya Chapter seeks to facilitate the designation of conservancies, wildlife refuges, and national parks as International Dark Sky Places (IDSP) to encourage communities around protected areas to preserve and protect our dark sites through responsible lighting policies and public education. In doing so, we work in close partnership with the Travelling Telescope for educational programming and the Noctia Institute for public education and outreach.
