We offer services that improve the quality of the mining process on celestial bodies. Our technology is also aimed to protect astronauts and equipments from the hazardous dust generated during the extraction.
The problem of generated dust can be solved by “insulating” the site in which the extraction happens. Thus, Darkoob proposes a lightweight pressurized chamber (LEXICON) to be installed around a mining equipment to collect regolith samples in a safe mode. This structure can be also used to perform scientific experiments and serve as a regolith feeding system for ISRU plants.
A first prototype of this device will be tested during the Asclepios I analog mission, promoted by the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne.
