Mr. Sushil Kumar had dreamt of venturing into Entertainment/Cable industry and they joined hands and hence the plan was given shape in the form of DARSH DIGITAL NETWORK PVT. LTD. (DDNPL) established on 13th Aug. 2008 and gained massive popularity within a very short period i.e. approx. 4 years by covering a maximum area of entire Bihar which gradually became the biggest Cable Network. As the time elapsed a strong need was felt for a Hindi News Channel which could deliver Local & Regional News. By this time Darsh Music, Darsh Entertainment & Darsh Cinema (three already successfully running Channel of DDNPL) had already gained enough popularity and only thing missing was a News Channel which emerged in the form of Darsh News. So, an initiative was taken to launch an Infotainment Channel of Bihar. The Channel is broadcasted 24 * 7 with true and current news running every hour as well as variety of Programs such as Aap Ki Rasoi, Cinema Aap Aur Hum, Darsh Talkies, Dil Ki Baat, Fashion Ka Jalwa, Rang Tarang etc. to cater the need of diversified group of viewers. Darsh News was on Test Signal from 20th November 2009 and was finally launched on 14th March 2010 by his Excellency Governor of Bihar, Mr. Devanand Kunwar along with the Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar Mr. Nitish Kumar. The other key invitees were Ravi Kishan, Shweta Tiwari, Debojeet, Anwesha & and Broadcasters of several leading Channels were also present in the launching ceremony.
