Online scammers target older adults twice as much as the next nearest age group, and our current means of addressing that just aren't working. The DART (Deception Awareness and Resilience Training) Collective creates tools that help older adults recognize threats and scams so they can protect themselves and their loved ones. A collaboration between researchers, game designers, cybersecurity experts, and community organizations, DART's methods are tailored to make learning accessible, relevant, and engaging for those most at risk. Our offerings currently include: *DeepCover* - a free-to-download spy-themed mobile game that engages players with challenging puzzles while covertly educating them on the language, tools, and tactics used in online deception *DART Academy* - a gamified learning platform that uses real-life examples to teach users to successfully identify and avoid scams online *DART Engage* - an immersive program where SMS and email messages are used to help you practice your scam-spotting skills during your everyday activities *DART Labs* - a program for organizations and institutions at the intersection of aging, cybersecurity, and policy that provides access to our research and findings, annual conferences, one-on-one consultation, and more Want to Partner with DART?
