A Devon based company of tree care specialists. With almost 20 years of experience across a whole range of arboricultural services, we have numerous private, commercial and utility clients, including County Councils, Local Authorities and the Ministry of Defence. Established in 1987, Dartmoor Tree Surgeons attained Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor status in 2002, and is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, the Royal Forestry Society and the Arboricultural Association. In 2006 (as far as we know) we became the first tree surgery company in Britain to be granted the prestigious Investors in People Award. As well as carrying out a full range of tree works in accordance with British Standard 3998:2010, we also offer specialist arboricultural services including Airspade excavations, dismantling of difficult or large trees using cranes, stump grinding and we maintain a 24 hour call out service. We also have a dedicated consultancy service, Advanced Arboriculture, which concentrates on British Standard 5837:2012 surveys (for trees on development sites), safety inspections, tree and woodland management reports, and expert witness work.
