Darwin India

Darwin is an International Conference organised by Bioriidl- India’s first DIY biolab. It is designed to promote the Biohacking Movement in India and to enhance community Bio-Labs. By enhancing ‘Community labs’, we are working towards providing a space where amateur biologists can get together and pool resources in order to convene, plan, build fellowship, and continue the evolution of our movement. Impact of Darwin 2019: 7000+ Online Community, 400+ Attendees, 50+ Projects developed, 10+ Workshops conducted, 5 Scholarships provided, 5 projects funded. With the great success of Darwin 2019, we are coming up with yet another spectacular line of events for Darwin 2020. The Conference will be held virtually this year due to the coronavirus outbreak and includes talks from renowned biologists, a panel of experts talking about global research topics, virtual workshops and the research symposium - a paper presentation competition.
