Darwish Engineering Emirates is a General Contracting Company founded in Dubai in the year 1952 with its dedicated aim to serve the local U.A.E. construction market and to provide it with the best engineering/construction services for both Government and Private Projects. During its early years after founding, the Company had completed the construction of Old Dubai Municipality Bldg. (1958), the Palace of H.H. Late Shaikh Ahmed Bin Ali Al Thani (1955), the first Runway and Arrivals / Departure Bldg. at old Dubai International Airport (1962), Al Mushref Palace in Abu Dhabi (1967), Al Bateen Airport Road and Internal Road Sector in Abu Dhabi (1968), Beach Palace and Main Water Tank in Abu Dhabi (1969) and the First Carriageway connecting Dubai and Abu Dhabi Emirates (1970), this was followed by the construction of the Second Carriageway (1973). In addition to the said projects, the Company in 1971 had the honour of executing and completing the Dar Al lttihad Building (Union House Building) in Dubai, on which the first U.A.E. Flag was hoisted for the first time in announcement of the establishment of the United Arab Emirates. After that, in continuation of its journey of success, the Company activities and projects had expanded to all other Emirates in UAE.
