datEx, short from Data Experts, is a consulting house, established in the Millennium Year of 2000 to cater the growing need for quality data and related consulting services. datEx, buoyed by high client satisfaction, has in the meantime, consolidated its expertise and experience to provide consulting services in any development endeavour that concerns earth’s surface and of late, sub-surface. The 3S - GPS, RS and GIS have been at the core of datEx’s data and related consulting services. This relation has gradually and effectively been expanded over almost all development consulting services over the years now. Initially offering consultancy services in the field of advanced engineering survey, data acquisition (GPS & RS), management and presentation (GIS) for informed decision support, datEx has steadily consolidated its experience, expertise and skills over the last couple of decades now. It is well placed to provide a whole range of consulting services in space - land, water and environmental sector projects of public and private sector entities, given the complete hold over data/info. Application of GIS has been phenomenal in identifying, positioning and quantifying space and space objects as well as in space planning with precision. These resulted a good number of completed and on-going projects in master, structure, land use, action area, physical feature plans and detailed area plan preparation projects.
