In the first years of my professional career I was a controller and did what controllers do in financial departments of different industries, in companies of all sizes. At least I have tried!
Because no matter what industry I was in, no matter how big or small the company was, I always had a problem. The systems! How could I use the existing systems to provide decision-relevant information? How was I supposed to adequately answer all the questions that I was supposed to answer?
I had to realize:

I firmly believe in the principle of "Self-Service Business Intelligence".
