Hey! I’m Max, the founder of Data Launchpad. My goal is to help you learn data analysis skills that you will actually use on the job. And learn them fast.
I have been very lucky to work in Data Analysis at two of Australia’s most successful and iconic companies and work with some incredibly sharp, analytical minds.
But my journey wasn't as smooth as a modern day rocket launch.
I learned data analysis slowly and painfully (Ouch, how embarrassing!). Now as a data analytics and insights manager I know it should have been easier, and that practical experience is not the only ingredient to successful learning. There are two others that undergird our work: Structure & Context.
Structure means learning only what you need, in the right order, and knowing the order in advance.
Context means using simple & fun analogous situations to explain how complex & abstract concepts work, and why they're important.
Brilliant data analysis consists of applying a few fundamental concepts (infused with a deep understanding of whichever business you're in).
And with lessons that are structured, in real-world business context, and highly interactive, I believe I can teach you those concepts faster than any other course provider or on-the-job experience.
I'm not here to guarantee you a job. And there are no quick ways to mastery. But if I can condense the 20% of data analysis skills that are used 80% of the time in real businesses, then couldn't that help launch your career?
