Data Owl aims to provide high-quality data science teaching, consulting and mentoring. The founder of Data Owl is Dr Minerva Singh, a data science researcher and consultant. ● Dr Singh finished a PhD in Computational Ecology from Cambridge University (2012-2017) where she specialized in applying practical data science to a range of real-world problems. ● In addition to her research which has resulted in 14 first-author peer-reviewed publications and several grants, she is also a best-selling instructor on Udemy (world's largest online learning platform). ● She has taught data science to more than 61,000 students from a variety of backgrounds. ● She has been invited to give talks at a number of international conferences, including the Open Data Science Conference (ODSC), an annual gathering of the world's best data scientists. ● Extensive knowledge on freeware tools- R, QGIS and Python.
